The Mid-county Memo strives to be accurate and thorough in its coverage and corrects significant errors of fact. If you find an error in the Memo, please call 503-287-8904 or e-mail our editor, Darlene Vinson, at editor@midcountymemo.com.

There was an error in the story “Event director resigns, looks for replacement.” Marsha Lee, Parkrose Festival & Cruise-In event director, was incorrectly identified as being a past president of the Parkrose Business Association. Lee never has been. She’s been the PBA’s secretary, is currently the treasurer and has been a board member for 10 years, but never the president. We regret the error.

And, in last month’s story, “Price is right for Parkrose football,” a few words were omitted from the end of the last sentence of the article, leaving it hanging in the air, so to speak. Here is the final paragraph, in full.

Donovan considered taking his son to another school until he heard the new administration was serious about revamping the entire football program. “What we all want for our kids is to go to college, maybe play ball for a couple more years (and) get an education,” Donovan said.

And according to Donovan, one of the first things Price said was a priority was to teach these kids how to make it to the next level — exactly what this parent wanted to hear. “He’s very impressive. He’s a good coach,” Donovan said.
