Corporation steps on small businessman, employees seek help

We work for a small espresso stand called Papa Java. My boss has been providing great coffee and outstanding customer services for almost four years at his Glisan St. Station location on Northeast 122nd and Glisan St. in front of the Safeway store. He just received a letter from the Safeway corporate office terminating his lease because Safeway’s plan is to put in a Starbucks. Why can’t we work together?

We, at Papa Java are starting a petition asking Safeway to allow Papa Java to stay at its current location. Show your support for small businesses in general and Papa Java’s business in particular by signing the petition to keep Papa Java in business at the same location. To date we have collected 500 signatures but need more, so please stop by Papa Java at the Glisan St. Station on Northeast 122nd and Glisan in front of the Safeway store and sign our petition. Thank you for your consideration.
